We are the Lord's Interns!: Working full speed!!!

Finally, our blog is alive again! Revived by Rachel! Today was a rather peaceful day i guess... Wait.. Its not! Tim's alarm clock had some problem and he ended up with a fine of $10 for being late.. That must really hurt your pocket, Timothy! So, in the late morning, we began with morning devotion led by Li Ting.. It was her very first time! WELL DONE!! We read Luke 9:57-62. It was about the cost of following Jesus.. Jesus asked 3 different people to follow him but each of them had given a different answer.. This passage reminds us that to follow God is not an easy route, we must be willing to give up our comfort, convenience and choices.. This is indeed not easy but by praying and asking for strength from God, we must work towards following Jesus without turning back..

After morning devotion, we went back to our office to continue with our ministry projects.. Rachel was collating the photos of all 教牧，执事 and 长老 and then decorating the bulletin board with the help of Li Ting... Li Ting was helping Pr. Gideon with updating the particulars of Youth Service people and later helping Rachel... Stephen was doing his week 2 homework (better hurry!).. Timothy was planning the 22 Jan beach evangelism... I was continuing with my 招待事工 (scheduling ushers, doing up brochures and newcomers' card)...

Pr. Gideon went to have lunch with Nat (tuan zhang) to discuss stuff.. We were invited by both Yu Zhu Lao Shi and Liu Mu Shi to have lunch with them.. Guess how we decide who to eat with? O Ya Bae Ya Som Ba Lae Ya Roti Prata Char Kuay Tiao!! (Our generation ppl should know whats this is rite? haha) We actually played this twice today.. We did it once after morning devotion to decide whose leading morning devotion tomorrow and Rachel lost! haha.. In the end, both Yu Zhu Lao Shi and Liu Mu Shi had stuffs to do before eating lunch SO we had an intern lunch at Just Acia!! I love that place!! Free flow of drinks and ice cream!! haha.. Oh forgot to add in.. Before lunch we had a mini episode.. Auntie Chun Hua was not in the office and no one could lock our door for us.. Rachel went to 2nd floor, Tim went De Ming Tang to search for her while the rest of us guarded the door... But she was no where to be found... Luckily, smartie Timothy suggested we go borrow the key from the General Office (1st floor) and he had to climb up 3 floors to lock the door and go back down again.. How tiring! Thanks Tim!

After lunch, we continued with our minstry projects again as stated above.. FINALLY.. Time to go home (but still got OT abit.. haha..).. Stephen and Li Ting have to stay for choir practice while Rachel decided to stay awhile more to continue with her work.. Jia Yous people!
