Saturday (Evangelism training)

Sorry for the late post... I wrting this post to comment about the evangelism training that we went to on the saturday. Actually we can rest at home for the saturday but Pr. Gideon told us to attend a training at SMU organised by Campus Crusade For Christ. So we got to get up early on that day and we were expected to reach church on 9.15am. Since our church is super near to SMU, therefore we just need to take less than a 5 mins walk over there. Then we waited at the bench for Rachel and a guy to bring us up to the room. Oh by the way, the earliest person to arrive of course is Porlin. She has never been late since the start of the internship and somemore she always came super early. Bravo!! We must always learn from her... Luckily i reach in time and happen to be the second one to arrive. Then Gideon, Liting and Tim arrive... Surprisingly this is the first time i saw Gideon late. Hahas.. Pr. Gideon, Remember your fine for being late.. Then lastly Rachel was very late, she came when we were already halfway in the training liao.

Ok, then we had the training on how to spread the gospel. First, they starts with the lesson on the four spiritual life. Taught by a guy from Campus Crusade for Christ. The whole lesson last for an hour and we had a toilet break for about ten mins.. After which, we immediately continued with the next lesson on how we should be spreading the gospel. Using the booklet that they gave it to us, it serve as a purpose of a evangelistic tools. And we use directly from the booklet to spread the gospel. The person who was teaching us for the second lesson is a girl who studied before in SMU and was in Campus Crusade for Christ before. It's a very good learning experience and we even get to spread the gospel on the spot. We were given some time to do role play. Two person in a group, so i paired up with Tim and we do the role play thingy. First, Tim try to play the role as a Christian whose spreading the gospel to a non-Christian, which was played by me.. After which, we switched roles and i played the role as a Christian who was spreading the gospel to Tim. We learnt to spread the gospel to a non-Christian whether he or she accept Christ or not. We learnt different tactics and strategies to deal with various situations. It's quite fun and a good learning experience. After the training, we went for lunch with all the other SMU Campus Crusade for Christ student. They were very friendly and sociable, i get to know quite a number of them and we had chat over lunch. They brought us to a Thai eatery opposite of NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts). We ordered delicious food, it's a pity we did not take photos of the food. That's too bad... Hahahas.. Altough there's still two more lessons after lunch, but we did not attend so we went straight home after lunch. That's all for the programmes on saturday. Hope u guys enjoy reading.. Bye!
