Monday (perhaps it's the only working day on monday)

Hi, sorry i have not been writing for very long since my last post.. And actually there isn't much to write about for today except for the special event that happened during the late afternoon. Perhaps today's the only monday that we will be writing for our internship program. Today is a special day because one of our church earliest deaconess has passed away on friday and she will be having her funeral and cremation today. So we were asked to work as usual on morning and to attend the funeral on afternoon.
I was late for about 10 mins for work and the interns were already there. But there were only three interns went for work today including me. Liting took a day off as her 'O' level results was released today while Rachel.... Sorry Rachel, i've no idea where you went to though Tim and Porlin told me before. Anyway she got something on and was unable to come for work. So as usual, we had our morning devotion with Pr. Gideon and it was led by Porlin. Good job Porlin!! She led the devotion quite well and the message were quite clear. After which we went back to work and do our respective job. Porlin was doing the ushering and newcomer's stuff, while Tim was doing planning for the beach evangelism. And i'm updating the youth service database, we'll updating those secondary three whose going to serve in various roles in the youth service.
At about 1 plus, we went off for lunch at Plaza Singaapura after we finish our assignments. Suddenly we all have a carving for fastfood. Perhaps we were all bored of what we have been eating everyday. Therefore, Porlin suggested we go for lunch at Mos Burger. We were all wondering if she was given commissions for helping to advertise their food. But it's true that she has advertised delicious food to us and i don't denied that we had a great time having our meal there. We continued with our work till about three plus and we quickly head down towards Singapore Casket. We attend the funeral wake and went off with them by bus to the Mandai Crematorium. Tim and me were really tired and we took a short nap on the catered bus. That's when our photo were secretly being taken by Pr. Gideon.. The photo has already been uploaded on the blog. Please stroll down and you will be able to view it. What worse is that, it was also being uploaded on Pr. Gideon's facebook and he did not tagged us.....!!!! Hahas.. =)
We spent about an hour at the crematorium and seriously the place was huge. We sang hymms and consoled the family members. It was always sad to see someone leaving this world and returning to Heaven. The Bible says that we were all visitors of this world and when the time comes, we will have to return to Heaven where there will be our eternal home. So it's very important that we must make use of our time wisely when we are on earth rather than waste it here. What do i mean by that, it means we must make use of our time on earth by spreading the Gospel and bring everyone before God's kingdom to have eternal life. And over there, we will be able to see our loved ones and all our brothers and sisters in Christ. Therefore, we know one day we will meet again and when that day comes, we will not meet on earth but in Heaven; Praising God eternally.. After the cremation, we went back home and the good news is that we can have a day off on tuesday!! At last we can have a break and really rest our body, and resuming work on wednesday..
Oh here's another GOOD NEWS that i want to share with everyone. I receive news through Tim that Liting did very well for her 'O' level. Praise the Lord!! She got A1's for about 7 subjects and manage to get very good results for the exam. I heard her wish is to enter into Hua Chong JC and hope that she will be able to study what she wanted and where her dreams lies. Well done!! Remember always to trust in God in whatever you do and do everything for the purpose of the Lord. (:

The handsome dude,
Stephen (JiaXi)  =)

  1. Oh and one more thing.. Sorry forgotten to write. Ermm, there will be no photos for the cremation. Though i was reminded by Gideon, but i totally forgotten to take photos. And another thing is that i felt rather rude and bad for taking photos at the wake. A bit disrespectful.. So there will be no photos regarding that but i can depict the scenario as real as possible by words. Anything please directly ask the handsome dude.. Thanks. =)
