TODAY WAS A PEACEFUL DAY

Yes Tuesday was indeed a very quiet day compared to the past week where we were all hectically trying to settle down into the working environment in church and then trying to complete our homework and attend music lessons simultaneously!

Our devotion in the morning was led by Porlin, who gave a very good sharing on the need for us to embody the fruits of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. She also fantastically clarified yet again, the fact that although our sins are crucified on the Cross when we became Christians, we still lead sinful lives due to our human nature and our way of living. Thus this calls for the need to discard our nature and mindset in order to follow God. Great Job Porlin!:D

After the morning worship and devotion , we headed out for lunch with MANY of the church's VIP staff - 牧师 and 传道们! It felt like we were attending a super important lunch meeting! We went to this small but cozy coffeeshop upstairs in POMO, located at the Paradiz Centre in Dhoby Ghaut, a mere walking distance from our church! The food was good, they gave ALOT of rice and the prices were wallet friendly! My fried rice was GOOOOD but the best food so far - as mentioned by Jia Xi - is their Hokkien Mee, which he claims is the BEST in Singapore! You should try it too if you have the chance!

After lunch we went back to LAPTOPPING, which basically meant us doing our internship assignments. The reason why I'm the 'freeiest' of all was because i mistook the instruction that our internship assignments must be handed in by Tuesday morning, when in actual fact we can hand them in at the end of every Tuesday! HOW BLUR! >_<  So when i came to church, i ended up being the only one who has completed the work for the week! Porlin had also finished much of her work so we had time to chill while the guys had a VERY TOUGH TIME trying to rush their work!

So because we were free the two of us started on our Personal Ministry Project! Porlin started on her 招待事工 instructions while i started coming up with ideas for our 青年崇拜 noticeboard! I decided to use leaves to decorate our board (Shhhh, it's a secret, so do wait patiently while i revamp our noticeboard 360 degrees!). As 以心传道 requested twigs to make the cott where baby Jesus lay, i decided to go downstairs to the backyard of our church to collect leaves and twigs. Guess what! Only after a mere 10 mins, I ended up gettting FIERCLY bitten by mosquitoes that were behaving like they have never seen a human before! Grr all the bites! But luckily, two of our church's cleaning staff saw me and came over to help! One literally climbed the almost vertical rock face to uproot 3 small 'trees' for me while the other constantly used a cloth to fan away the mosquitoes around me! All i could do was to just stand there and look stunned, because i were just so amazed at their generosity to help me! Praise the Lord!

So after that little escapade from our intern office, we continued with work all the way till 4pm and i went home with Porlin while the guys (poor them! haha) had to stay back to complete their assignments!

Here are some photos!:

That's all for now! Bye!
